What reason did you have for conducting a survey?
“We conducted the survey for two reasons. 1) To profile our existing customer base and 2) To collate statistics on existing automotive service procurement patterns of the Irish motorist.”

“ We targeted our existing customer and registration base.”
What was your delivery method?
“We eMailed the survey out through a newsletter via GroupMail.”

What did you think of the results?
“We achieved a 17% response rate. The results themselves were fantastic and actually allowed us to feed out some PR to the media. Consequently 6 radio stations picked up on it and highlighted it within their consumer issue slots.”
Did the survey help resolve your initial problem? ”Yes it did. We retrieved solid market analysis data typically difficult to achieve using normal methods.” Would you use a survey again to help you resolve similar problems?
“Yes we would. We plan to use it strategically in the near future.”
